Help eliminate kidney disease and diabetes in Australia through workplace giving.
Just by signing up to Workplace Giving, you can help make a difference to the lives of so many people in need while you go about your daily work. A small pre-tax donation will support thousands of Australians affected by kidney disease and diabetes. It doesn’t take much and you probably won’t notice a difference to your pay check, but your ongoing support through Workplace Giving will help us raise the funds needed to support of medical research aimed at developing new therapies to eliminate two of the fastest growing chronic conditions in Australia and around the world.
If you are interested in your employer setting up a workplace giving program to support Kidney, Transplant & Diabetes Research Australia – you can either send your HR Manager’s contact details to us via email or phone 08 7002 0840 or we can happily contact them. We will let them know an employee has recommended us to become a charity of choice and determine how salary donations will be made.
We can provide quarterly reports to share with you and other staff to show exactly how your donations have helped. You will be amazed just how far your donations go to help prevent future generations suffering from kidney disease or diabetes.
If you donate $5 from your pay before tax then you will get the tax benefit upfront rather than having to wait until tax time.
For more information on the tax benefits please visit the Australian Taxation Office website.
Benefits for Employer & Employees
Workplace Giving can make a lasting impact on funding our ongoing research projects. It also enables consistent funds so that researchers can focus on their lifesaving research and delivering outcomes to patients in need.
Transparency: We will provide a quarterly update with staff to demonstrate exactly how their donations have helped.
Flexibility: Staff can give a monthly or once-off donation and the Employer has the choice of offering a match system. This is where every dollar a staff member donates the Employer will match.
Team Building: A Workplace Giving program can create a bond between staff as they share a common goal helping to raise funds that prevent future generations suffering from two of the fastest growing chronic conditions in Australia and around the world.
